This Time in September
a memoir reflecting on my sixties—a decade of profound transition—as I now find myself standing at the threshold of the autumn years of my seventies.
Writing this memoir allowed me to see more clearly the threads that wove that season together. Reflecting on painful memories of loss revealed that they were interwoven with new birth.
Out of that weaving came healing, deeper awareness, and unexpected spiritual growth.

Titled This Time in September, the memoir is a gentle and honest narration of faith, memory, and becoming. Through moments both ordinary and sacred, it traces my life shaped by love, loss, vocation, and quiet awakenings—where God is discovered not in grand gestures, but in small, faithful steps.
My hope is that, as you read, you may be invited to pause, remember your own transitions, and notice how grace so often meets us in ways we least expect.
