Photographing a meeting space with mixed light sources
In this 25-minute video, I walk you through a recent shoot at the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Florida, where we captured three images of a meeting space that used to be a Japanese sushi restaurant. Full narration throughout, I discuss my setup, including using a 30mm tilt-shift lens on my GFX100 camera, and the importance of finding the best angles while working with natural and supplemental lighting. You'll see how I adjust the lighting with my Godox flash and the techniques I use to eliminate unwanted shadows in post-processing. I also share insights on collaborating with my stylist and assistant throughout the shoot.
Time lapse of the retouching at end of the video.
