Pompom and Tuft Hat

One ball of Freia Fine Handpaints Super Bulky Yarn knits up quick to make this fun toasty hat! An extra layer of warmth is provided around the ears with the placement of staggered bobbles (or tufts!).

Substitution Notes
Look for a super bulky yarn that works up at 2 sts per inch (2.5 cm). You could also try holding two or more strands of a lighter weight yarn together to get gauge.


Needles + Notions
10 mm (US 15) Needles for working in the round;
9 mm (US 13) Needles for working in the round;
Stitch Marker;

CD Case or Cardboard;
Remnant of strong DK or worsted weight yarn in similar colour to pompom.

Gauge
9 sts and 14 rows = 4" (10 cm) over stocking stitch in the round, using larger needles, blocked.
