CSV Cleanup Kit is a small browser tool for invoice exports, contact lists and operational files. It reads your selected file on your device without uploading your data or calling an AI service.

WHAT IT DOES

• Trim leading and trailing whitespace.

• Flag exact duplicates, or remove them while keeping the first.

• Flag different records sharing the same identifier.

• Flag missing required values and basic email syntax issues.

• Check exact decimal totals before and after cleanup.

• Read comma, semicolon or tab-delimited UTF-8 files.

• Export and reuse rules on files with matching headers.

INCLUDED

A self-contained HTML app with editable source, a quick-start guide, fictional invoice data, example rules and expected outputs. Export cleaned CSV, a full issue log and a JSON report. A copy-text fallback is included.

LIMITS

UTF-8, 2 MB, 10,000 data rows, unique nonempty headers. Numeric totals require dot decimals without currency symbols, grouping or exponents. Invalid values and blanks are preserved and excluded from totals with an explicit count. Identifier conflicts never cause automatic removal. Email format checks do not verify deliverability. No accounting or tax accuracy is certified.

Designed for a current desktop browser. The packaged HTML was tested as a local static page in the Codex in-app browser. Direct double-click opening has not been independently verified because that browser blocks file:// URLs.
