Dance Studio Class Profit Forecast — Google Sheets & Excel Template

You know how many students are in each class. But do you know which classes are actually paying the rent?

If some of your students pay per term and others pay a weekly membership, headcount alone tells you nothing. A full class of members can earn far less than a half-full class of term students, and most studio software won't show you that.

This template does. I built it for my own studio, and it shows you, class by class:

• What each class really brings in, with term students and members counted correctly
• What the teacher costs
• Its fair share of rent and overheads
• Whether it still makes a profit (classes losing money turn red)

Two margins, so you can make real decisions. Direct margin shows whether a class covers its teacher. Full margin shows whether it covers its share of the studio too. A class can pass the first test and fail the second, and that's the one you need to know about before next term.
