Welcome to your Somatic Sleep Renewal series designed to ease you into a full night of natural sleep.

Before you begin, I want to show you how to use these sessions so you can receive the deepest, most calming experience possible.

Each video is meant to be listened to at BEDTIME, either as you’re preparing to sleep or if you wake in the middle of the night and can’t quiet your mind.

You can listen right in bed, lying on your back or your side — anywhere your body feels supported.

The most important thing to know is this:

The more you relax and surrender, the more effective the energy becomes.

Your body naturally receives and responds to these calming energies when the mind softens and lets go.

That’s why each session begins with a gentle hypnotherapy-style lead-in — it helps quiet the “monkey mind,” soothe the inner critic, and guide your whole system into a state of openness and safety.

There’s nothing to do, nothing you need to force… just allow yourself to melt into the experience.

One of the simplest ways to drop into surrender is through your breath.

Let me show you the breath pattern you’ll hear me invite you into:

Take a slow, deep belly breath, letting the diaphragm expand and the belly rise.

At the top of the breath, gently hold for as long as feels comfortable — maybe a count of five — and notice the spacious, floaty feeling inside your chest and belly.

Then exhale softly, allowing the navel to draw back toward the spine.

At the end of the breath, pause again… sinking into the quiet at the base of the body.

Feel the awareness drop into the pelvis, into that deep, peaceful stillness.

Hold for a count that feels right for you — maybe four or five — and then gently return to the in-breath.

In… floaty, spacious.

Out… deep, calm, quiet.

This breathing isn’t required, but it can help your system soften so the energy can work more easily.

Once the breath settles, simply allow the channeled calming energies to wash through you.

Some people feel warmth, heaviness, tingles, or waves of softness.

Others feel peaceful or simply more quiet inside.

All of it is perfect.

If you fall asleep during the session, wonderful — your body still receives the energy.

If you wake up partway through, just let the sound bring you back down.

There’s no right or wrong way to experience this.

Just relax… breathe… and let yourself be held.
