Music is physics, mathematics, and emotion 

all rolled into one. Long before children read formal sheet music, they

can experience the magic of sound waves, vibrations, and rhythm 

right in their hands.

By building our own instruments and experimenting with pitch, we 

can help children discover how sound travels through the air as 

mechanical waves, turning the kitchen table into a living acoustic 

laboratory.
