"The Mistress" – Nick Spencer

Some builds are more than just trucks—they're a labor of love. This 1991 Nissan Hardbody, known as "The Mistress," earned its name after the owner's wife joked that he spent more time with the truck than he did with her. The name stuck, and so did the dedication behind the build.

After purchasing the truck from a couple who no longer had time to finish it, the real work began. Once it was home, Nick and a friend discovered major issues hidden beneath the surface. What followed was a three-year journey of late nights, long weekends, and countless hours in the garage transforming the truck into the vision it is today.

The Mistress now features a '96 Nissan dash, custom door panels, LED lighting, a custom back-half frame, and stunning Tropical Glitz "Pinkalious" metal flake paint that demands attention wherever it goes.

More than anything, this truck represents friendship and perseverance. Nick gives special thanks to Chris Jones, Tim Sauls, and Roger Daniels, whose countless hours of help made this dream build possible. The Mistress stands as a reminder that the best builds aren't created alone—they're built with the people who never stop believing in the vision.
