SAYURI means “little lily” in Japanese and so I gave this beautiful name to my new sweater because the lace pattern on the yoke reminds me of blooming flowers.
It is a seamless sweater in top-down construction with a scalloped neckline and an interesting lace pattern on the round yoke, while the rest is worked in simple stockinette.
The picture shows size 2 with 6 cm/2.4” of positive ease.

PATTERN NOTES:
·       The sweater is worked in one piece top down.
·       Please make sure your gauge for CHART 1/1A worked with smaller needles is much tighter than the rest. One chart repeat should be about 6 cm wide for CHART 1 and 5.25 cm wide for CHART 1A.
·       I recommend swatching for the lace pattern of CHART 2 and if you notice that it is looser than the stockinette stitch, please use smaller needles for working the lace section of your sweater.
·       After the round yoke, you separate the sleeves and the body and continue working them separately.
·       Written instructions to charts can be found on Pages 10 and 11.
