Named after a place up in the wild and barren Pennines, these simple and rustic, chunky fingerless mitts were born out of a need for something thick, cosy, quick and easy. They tick all those boxes and are pretty addictive!

Materials:
Eden Cottage Yarns Whitfell (Chunky; 100% baby alpaca; 100m/109yds per 100g skein)
Shade Silhouette; 1 x 100g skein (large)
Shade Tulip; 1 x 100g skein (small)

Needles and accessories:
6mm (US10) needles; double pointed needles or 80cm (32in) circular for magic loop (or size required to obtain gauge)
stitch marker (if working in the round)
tapestry needle
scissors.

These mitts are designed to be close fitting, with no ease, however they are very stretchy due to the large stitches.
