HOW IT WORKS
Download the ZIP, extract it, open the included HTML file, export an execution report from IBKR Flex Query, and import that file into the journal.
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
• Import is manual. Automatic IBKR synchronization is not included.
• The journal does not include broker credentials, hosted storage, live market data, or a broker connection.
• Imported executions and notes remain in browser local storage unless you export them. Export regular JSON backups because clearing browser data may remove them.
• FIFO reconstruction may differ from IBKR tax-lot or statement-level calculations. Tax-related fields are planning estimates, not tax advice.
• This is an independent browser tool and is not an official Interactive Brokers product.
PRIVACY AND ACCESS
Your journal data stays in the browser on your device unless you choose to export it. No account or recurring subscription is required.
