Module 5.2: First Sequences (6-10)
❖ Module Overview:
The geometric shapes 1-5 are relatively simple. While we did see our first star in the five, this is the simplest of the stars - and again, more foundational in nature. With the 6-10 we add both complexity and interaction, so it’s worth spending a little time to understand what this means before we launch into the shapes themselves.
1. Complexity of Shape = Complexity of Meaning
While the first five shapes (circle to pentagram) establish what things are (Entirety, Perspective, Balance, Bedrock, Nature of), the second five (hexagram to decagram) explore how those things interact, transform, and transcend.
The geometric complexity directly mirrors this shift in cognitive complexity. The shapes are more difficult to draw (or to hold in your mind) and the meanings equally stretch our comprehension.
