Sofia and Doña Susana's Accordion

Sofia and Doña Susana’s Accordion

One afternoon at Rancho El 7, Sofia discovers something special—Doña Susana’s old accordion.

As Doña Susana opens the case, she begins to share a story from long ago.

When she was just eight years old, her father took her to music lessons in the big city.

For ten years, she practiced and learned to play the accordion.

What began as a little girl’s music lesson eventually became a lifelong love of music.

Now Doña Susana has a new student—Sofia.

Together, they open the old accordion, make music, share memories, and discover that some family treasures are much more than things we keep. They carry stories, traditions, and memories from one generation to the next.
