“Cantiga de Santa Maria” n°189 – an Enchanting Piece from Medieval Spain
The “Cantigas de Santa Maria” (Songs to the Virgin Mary), written in the 13th century by King of Castile Alfonso X the Wise, are one of the largest written music collections that survived from the European Middle-Ages. Their enchanting atmosphere makes them perfectly fit to the hammered dulcimer.
