Make Way For More (eco-poetry micro chapbook)
Make Way For More is a micro‑chapbook of poems (eco-poetry; environmental destruction themed) written from the places where nature disappears in real time.
These poems were based on my experiences living in Florida and elsewhere, and capture the quiet grief of watching ecosystems vanish.
These poems are raw on purpose. They read like field notes: fragments captured at the moment the land changed or was unceremoniously taken away.
Themes include:
- Wetland loss & housing development
- Consumer excess & environmental cost
- Forest clearing for commercial projects
- Childhood nature spaces destroyed
- Coastal erosion & dead water
- Everyday environmental grief

Note: I'm working on a micro-chapbook inspired by my hikes around Maine. That one will be more focused on nature's restorative effects.
