Plates I–V, from the Blackwood Archive: Set of 5 Digital Art Prints (Digital Download)
Five plates, recovered without a catalogue. Filed as found.
The archive has no record of who painted them, or for whom. It keeps a few things only: a man raising a cup to an unknown health, an alchemist waiting on an ember that has never been allowed to go out, a veiled figure keeping candles at the edge of a wood, a queen deciding whether you were worth the wait, and a chef who has already decided.
Five moody, candlelit portraits in the manner of old oil studies, made to hang together. All are tall, dark and lit by a single small light, so they work as a gallery wall, a row down a hallway, or a study that’s slightly too quiet.
This is a digital product you can print yourself. Frames and prints are not included.

What this is
Original digital artworks created with AI image tools and finished by Jim Blackwood Archives. The “archive” is a story. These are not historical paintings, and no physical originals exist.
Printing tip
Print all five at the same size, on matte or fine-art paper, in one order so the colour matches across the set. Ask your print shop to print as-is, with no auto-correction.
