One compound stood out in this peaceful area of modest homes and well-kept lawns here in Louisville. Mr. Spearnose lived there, the only one with enough greenery to provide cover for him and an odd assortment of pets and creatures.

Vegetables, herbs, and flowers abound in his backyard, which he had turned into a verdant haven as a vegetarian. However, this garden had also evolved into the covert headquarters for something very amazing, which the neighborhood was unaware of.

The morning was calm and sunny. The adult handlers had left for work as usual, and the kids had dispersed into schools, laughter resonating down the alleys and their backpacks bouncing. With the exception of the distant bark of a dog and the rustle of leaves, the streets became silent. By all measures, the moment was ideal for calling a meeting. Who called the meeting and what was it for?
