In Frank Zafiro's short story "Adam Raised a Cain" , set years before Blood on Blood, the backstory of how Mick left the force is revealed. In Jim Wilsky's short story "Bear Trap", the reader learns what sent Jerzy to prison around the same time.

④ HARBINGER Set on the sunny Gulf Coast of Florida, this prequel centers around two lifelong friends and fishing charter boat partners, Boyd Tomlin and Hicks Ledoux.
