Digital Crochet Pattern - Pumpkin Cat Toy

Celebrate autumn with your cat by crocheting this pumpkin cat toy! Kuerbis is the German word for pumpkin, and two of our Sphynx cats are originally from Germany!

Tools and Materials:

• 4.50 mm 7 crochet hook
• tapestry needle and scissors
• two colours of worsted or Aran cotton or other yarn – sample used orange and green Lily Sugar ‘n Cream, (other yarn weights can be used but will result in a different sized toy) – alternatively, it can be made all in one colour if desired
• fibre fill or other stuffing
• catnip or other dried herbs

Sizes: One size. Sample shown is 8 cm (approx. 3 inches) in diameter.

Difficulty: Advanced beginner to intermediate. Requires knowledge of post stitches, increases, and decreases.

Gauge: 8.5 stitches and 6 rows = 5 cm

Yardage: 44 - 77 yards (40 - 70 m)
