Come to the River moves through four weeks of Advent, dreaming, hiding, wandering, and being found, each one anchored in a single crowded, holy, unfinished image: Noah's ridiculous boat, a game of sardines, the riverside crowd at the Jordan, the narthex threshold on Christmas Eve.

Each week offers scripture, a handful of questions that don't resolve so much as keep you good company, a small practice for your hands or your Tuesday, and a line to carry with you into a grocery store or a hospital hallway.

There's no arriving by Christmas Eve here. Just the discipline of coming back to the water, again and again, until you're found.
