How to Use
Read a chapter from The Adventures of Danny Meadow Mouse.
Choose a matching background.
Let your child place the animal cut-outs on the scene.
Ask your child to retell what happened using the characters.
You may also use the narration cards when your child needs help beginning a retelling.
Printing Suggestions
Print on A4 paper.
For character sheets, use 200–250 gsm cardstock if possible.
For background playmats, use cardstock, matte photo paper, or regular bond paper.
Choose Actual Size or 100% when printing.
Use your printer’s Best Quality or High Quality setting.
For longer use, you may laminate the background pages and character pieces before cutting.
Adult supervision is recommended when cutting. Small pieces may not be suitable for children who still mouth objects.
