In the Hall of the Mountain King is the third piece in www.masquerade-music.co.uk's exciting Classical Capers book for Bb Clarinet (also available in Eb sax, Bb sax, and flute editions).
This (we feel, rather overplayed) classic has had a revamp, opening with a whistle-like theme before moving into the main theme which is a kind of jazz/reggae fusion, complete with accelerando. The Lawry/Degg (most well known for their Christmas Jazz Volumes 1 and 2) writing duo bring another fun collection where the new arrangement is also infused with brand new original material, making for an exciting play!
It had to be done, and yes, we did it! Are you ready to play Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner, Handel, and Grieg as you’ve never played them before? This collection is aimed at intermediate players and in addition to the piano accompaniment part and solo instrumental part, you will find inspiring demonstration tracks (no nasty glockenspiel melody line here we might add!) with a real instrument demonstrating for you, and also minus one backing tracks.
We’ve taken great pains with our audio tracks to give you a great quality band to play along to, as we believe that helps the soloist settle in , feel inspired, and produce their best performances. We hope that you enjoy the experience just as much as we enjoyed making this publication and audio.
