When the tenderness of the wild herbs touched with the first frost catches your eye…

The tee is absolutely seamless. It’s worked in the round, top-down and has a round yoke decorated with laces. On the edges it’s worked with an attractive variation of a half-twisted broken ribbing. The back is raised with short rows, which is optional: the tee could be successfully worn without them. The pattern is very friendly to beginners; it contains clear and full instructions and links to video tutorials.

The sample was knitted with a cord yarn Cascade Cantata (#10 Navy)

      (80% cotton 20% superwash merino wool) 200 m per 100 gr/218 yds per 3.5 oz

Note, that the more similar yarn you will choose, the more similar result you will get.

Needles:

circular needles 100-140 cm/40-55” long of sizes 5 mm/US8/UK6 and 6 mm/US10/UK4

Gauge:

16 stitches and 22.3 rounds in 10 cm/16.2 stitches and 22.6 rounds in 4’’ in stockinette in the round with needles 6 mm/US10/UK4 after blocking and steaming

Note: Why is my gauge so precise?

I believe that the most accurate method to determine the gauge is to measure the whole length and width of the blocked swatch and to divide each value accordingly to the amount of the stitches and rows/rounds that you made to create your swatch. In this case, you will get fractions. Rounding these fractions to smaller or bigger whole numbers will lead to inaccurate measurements of the finished object. Only the sum of all the stitches and rows/rounds used to make an object could be rounded to maximum half of the whole number.
