The Auteur Pitch is built around five movements: Conflict, Form, Technical & Aesthetic Decisions, Narrative Structure, and The Intention. Each one builds on the previous, guiding you from the raw material of an idea to a clear, personal, and compelling proposal.

Every example in this guide comes from a real project that was pitched, approved, and produced. Developed from 29 documentary projects directed by Fredi Ferrara, including work screened at the Venice Biennale and international film festivals.
