The Hidden Life of the Hideous Tree
An eyesore of a tree delivers an eye-opening experience to a nature photographer who thought he had to travel the world to make creative images.
Stuck at home during the Covid-19 stay-at-home orders, the photographer trained his camera on his front yard, developing a new relationship with an ugly tree and a destructive bird. The 30-page book is a combination of photography and essays. It contains more than 20 colorful images and nine essays totaling more than 3,000 words.
