Injuries, underperforming players and questionable coaching start to plague the New Jersey Spartans season as the media questions the bold prediction made by Jeremy Spears that his team would go all the way to the World Championship. T.J. Ripper starts to look at life beyond football and building an identity away from a world that has been his entire life. A major separation in Jeremy Spear's life causes him to evaluate how much the game has taken away from him.
