A Stage Forward Resource

At Stage Forward, we believe every theatre program, arts organization, and student leadership team has the potential to create something extraordinary. Too often, however, teams get caught in the day-to-day work of productions, meetings, and events without taking the time to dream about what's next.
The Student Leader Vision Lab is designed to change that.
This guided workbook helps student leaders step back, think bigger, and work together to create a shared vision for the future of their program. Through reflection activities, discussion prompts, and collaborative exercises, students will explore what is working, identify opportunities for growth, and imagine what their program could become over the next year and beyond.
Whether you're a theatre troupe officer team, student council, arts leadership group, or club leadership board, this resource provides a structured process to help students take ownership, build alignment, and create momentum.
Inside You'll Find:
- Individual reflection activities
- Team visioning exercises
- Dreaming and brainstorming prompts
- Program strengths and opportunities discussions
- Goal-setting and action-planning tools
- Leadership conversations that encourage ownership and accountability
Perfect For:
- Theatre Officer Teams

The Stage Forward Approach
This resource is inspired by the Stage Forward Framework:
ACT I: Discover & Align
Understand where you are today and what matters most.
ACT II: Imagine
Dream boldly about what is possible for your program and students.
ACT III: Advance & Accelerate
Turn ideas into meaningful action and sustainable growth.
Our mission is simple:
- To help theatre and arts organizations dream bigger, build stronger, and create transformative experiences for students and communities.
Pay What You Want
