If you would like a half-sized corseted dress form in many sizes to practise draping, this is your product! Most half-sized mannequins conform to standard measurements - this one is cinched to mimic a corseted body. This particular design mimics the Edwardian silhouette with an S-bend shaping and option to pad out a 'mono' boob.

Not only does it come in 10 dress sizes at three different heights (short, medium, tall) but (in addition to the mono boob option) there are 4 additional standard cup sizes to create a closer bust measurement plus an enhanced or reduced hip to give you a larger or smaller hip to waist ratio.
Using my own standard body, standard measurements tables, and photos of anatomy (spine curvature for instance), I have created a product that is multi-sized and mimics the human body as much as possible. With clever stuffing these gorgeous little mannequins stand up on their own on a table or can be hung from a button sewn to the neck.
These make perfect little presents for your sewing friends - why not make one in their size?!
The measurements marked on this pattern are the shoulder and back - the hip line and bust line for every size is indicated on the centre front panel and the waistline is indicated on every panel. See the measurement chart in the photos for all the measurements used to create this multi-sized dress form.
Skill level - intermediate.
This pattern needs to be printed on A4 or US letter paper and tiled according to the print layout sheet (tape the rectangles together) - there is also a large format A0 included.
Notions;
0.45/16'' fabric - upholstery fabric works well and the less fraying the better!
Stuffing - fabric scraps plus polyfil works the best
3 or 4mm felt for the base, neck and shoulders (I find this works best in these areas to strengthen them in preference to interfacing)
Wadding to pad out the cups
A large button for fixing to the neck if you want to hang the mannequin
