About Our Speaker: Leslie Wright

Leslie had struck a chord with her peers and community that would be remarkable. She went on to receive her bachelors from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, making it to the Dean's list and being inducted into honor society. Upon graduation, she was afforded jobs with UPS, an attorney’s office, and retail stores where she learned the art of sales, customer service, and merchandising.

In 2008, she launched Partiez By Leslie Event Planning Company and began assisting with countless weddings and events in the city. She met Clifton Powell and assisted with events for Mr. Joe Dudley of Dudley hair care products just to name a few. That same year, she became an international best-selling author. Her books and speeches are about the freedom found in God-given abilities, entrepreneurship, and faith. She later expanded services in 2018 to now include makeup, skincare, clothing and business consulting.

She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Walden University to help catapult the voice of small business owners into leadership roles and policy-making decisions in the White House. Wright has been featured in the Huffington Post, The News & Record, Channel 12, and many more broadcasts across the world.
