Happiness Rug

I took my love of basic knit and crochet stitches, my aversion to weaving in ends, and a move to a new interior space, and created this quick-to-make area cushy area rug.

It feels great underfoot thanks to squishy garter stitch in the main body of the rug and crochet seed stitch along each edge. Super bulky and chunky yarns held together make this design a quick, meditative make - good for evening device watching or group craft sessions. The in-row knots add a rustic design touch.
