Heir to the dragon's blaze

The guards removed Averyl’s shackles, she inhaled deeply feeling relieved. The two entered the arena ready for battle. Standing face to face, they bowed and shook hands as tradition, and got into battle stance ready to take one another down. Averyl showed no concern in regards to her opponent. She was confident in her abilities. Averyl closed her eyes and inhaled deeply tapping into her powers. When she opened her eyes they were glowing a beautiful fluorescent green and emitting lightning sparks. She bawled her fists tightly and then released them discharging lightning from them as well.

Nyla held a menacing smile on her face. In her mind she felt this was too easy, and that she would take Averyl down with ease. Especially seeing she was now a multi elemental, she felt as if Averyl had no grounds against her. Nyla made the first move by attempting to blast her opponent with a broad ice blade, Averyl dodged it with ease, moving so fast that it shocked Nyla and everyone else who was watching the tournament.
