Crave and Conquer
***THE PICTURE HAS ARROWS ON THE SIDE -USE THEM TO CHANGE PICTURE***
Crave and Conquer is about a rich Chicago real-estate heiress, Alina Westbrook, who falls into a dangerous, addictive power-exchange relationship with Marcus King, a South Side mechanic with a reputation for being devastatingly good in bed and utterly unapologetic about it. What starts as flirtation over her car turns into an all-consuming dynamic where Marcus pushes her into deeper and deeper surrender—fast bikes, public risk, stripping under a stage name, being watched, being “owned.” She gives him her body, her time, even the money she earns dancing.
To the outside world—especially her powerful family—it looks like abuse and exploitation. They stage a legal and social ambush: Marcus is arrested, the hotel and club footage gets used against him, and Alina is dragged back into the family estate and locked into therapy and “reputation management.” Marcus takes a plea and goes to prison under court orders not to contact her; Alina is physically “rescued” but emotionally wrecked, craving the man and the submission that made her feel more alive than her polished, controlled life ever did. The core of the book is that clash: her genuine desire for extreme surrender vs. a world that insists she’s only a victim, and whether what they had was love, obsession, or something in between.
