Soul of Love — 438 ghazals of Rumi, Persian with English translation (EPUB + PDF) Price: 5.00 USD

Soul of Love is a selection of 438 ghazals (5,072 couplets) from the Divan Shams of Rumi, chosen for readers who want a first, direct encounter with the poet: songs of love, longing and spiritual devotion, written after the disappearance of his teacher and companion Shams of Tabriz.

Each Persian couplet appears in the original, followed immediately by its English translation, line by line, so a reader of either language can follow the verse in the other. Every poem keeps its number in the Divan, so that a reader moved by one ghazal can find its neighbours in the complete nine-volume bilingual edition.

Translated by Yahya Nazer, whose bilingual editions of Rumi, Saadi, Hafez, Attar, Khayyam and Ferdowsi number more than sixty volumes.

You receive the book in two formats: EPUB (Apple Books, Thorium, any e-reader app) and PDF (opens anywhere).
