Steps of the Pale follows Cadaver Feet caught between two worlds — the warm, mortal land above and the quiet, turbulent unknown below. Each step down the sun‑bleached stairs feels like a descent into something deeper… yet each pause, each breath, each moment of stillness pulls me back toward the world I no longer belong to.

Do you proceed or retreat?

When time no longer moves for you, the weight of a single choice can feel heavier than the grave.

Bare soles slip from sandals.

Loose fabric brushes against concrete.

The sun burns where the crypt has no business being.

Back to land… or forward into the waters beyond?
