Sock Knitting Pattern:
This is a top-down, cabled sock with a garter-edge, traditional heel flap. It is worked using magic loop; needle 1 will be front of foot/instep/leg, and needle 2 will be back of the foot/leg and heel.
This sock was born from the lovely, deep colors of the yarn from Inspired FiberWorx. This base is perfect for socks; the mohair content adds warmth and strength to your socks, so they will last.
The use of both cables and ribbing keep this sock snug on your leg and foot, no saggy socks here. Due to this, you may need to go up a needle size (from what you normally knit socks with) to have them fit.
Size 1 (2, 3)
8” (9”, 10”) actual foot circumference
7” (8”, 9”) sock circumference
Sock will fit with about 1” negative ease
100g fingering weight yarn *(Sample uses Inspired FiberWorx Mohair Sock in “Madalen”.)
