Please Call Me Anne With An E Shawl (Anne of Green Gables Inspired) - PDF Knitting Pattern

I have been a lover of Anne of Green Gables since I was a little girl. The story of finding a home, love, and a family touches my heart. I have read and reread the books until they fell apart and I have watched the Megan Follows/Jonathan Crombie Anne movies so often I can quote most of the dialogue.

Jennie of Owl About Yarn provided the two colourways of gorgeous yarn that embody Anne of Green Gables.

The Design – The Green Gables sections are a textured design that reminds me of the gables of Anne’s Green Gables home. The Carrots sections are cabled braids because of Gilbert calling Anne’s hair “carrots.”

Gauge: 26 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches in seed stitch (blocked)
Needle size: US 4 - 3.5 mm
Yardage: 874 yards (799 m)

This shawl is knit flat.
