A New Creation

This painting, A New Creation, was birthed in a season where the Holy Spirit was ministering to me about transformation and what it truly means to be made new in Christ.

The image of three whales circling around a portal of light and stars speaks of renewal, resurrection, and divine purpose. Just as Jonah was held in the belly of the whale for three days before being released into new life, and Jesus was crucified, buried, and rose again on the third day, this painting tells the story of being reborn—emerging from darkness into the radiant light of His glory.

In those hidden places of surrender, where everything familiar falls away, God is at work reshaping us. He refines, restores, and resurrects what once was lost, making us a new creation in Him. The circling whales remind me of His constant presence even in the depths carrying us through the process until we rise renewed in His strength and love.

2 Corinthians 5:17

This painting celebrates that divine transformation the beauty of being made new, restored, and redeemed through the power of His resurrection life. A reminder that even in the deepest waters, His light is leading us home.
