Sequence Scarf is a celebration of rhythm, color, and sequence. Inspired by Cecilia Campochiaro’s Sequence knitting book, this design uses two contrasting colors to create a mesmerizing interplay as you work. The pattern is easy to follow, making it accessible for adventurous beginners while still engaging for experienced knitters.

I received two balls of yarn for Christmas from a friend and really wanted to use the two variegated colors together to create something simple yet spectacular. Watching the colors interact row by row was truly enjoyable, and each row invites you into a steady rhythm that feels both meditative and rewarding.

The scarf looks great on both sides, regardless of which side is showing. I-cord edges are worked along the sides, so it does not curl and does not require blocking. This project transforms a classic two-color technique into a contemporary, elegant accessory—perfect for everyday wear or as a thoughtful gift.
