Shrunken Brother.pdf
It was a hot summer afternoon when the Smiths' home was filled with tension. 17-year-old Stacy was fuming at her 15-year-old brother Tommy. He had ditched her plans to see a movie together so he could hang out with his buddies. Now an argument was brewing between the two siblings.
"I can't believe you blew me off like that!" Stacy huffed. "We had plans, Tommy. Important ones!"
"Chill out, sis," Tommy replied, waving his hand dismissively. "It's not a big deal. I'll make it up to you another time."
Stacy seethed with anger. Her eyes narrowed at her brother. "Not good enough," she growled.
From her pocket, Stacy pulled out a strange little device that looked like an old sci-fi ray gun. A wicked grin spread across her face. "I've had enough of your crap, Tommy. It's time you learned your lesson."
Tommy's eyes widened in shock. "What the hell is that thing?!"
"Let's just say I picked up a little something to show you your place," Stacy said, voice dripping with malice. "This baby will shrink you down to practically nothing. You'll be useless!"
She pointed the shrink ray at Tommy before he could react. ZAP! A bright red beam blasted him. In an instant, Tommy was shrunk down to the size of an ant!
"W-what the hell?!" his tiny voice shouted as he tried to get his bearings on the hardwood floor which now loomed like mountains around him.
"Oops! Looks like you're in big trouble now, little man," Stacy giggled evilly, standing over him with a sadistic smile. "I bet you wish you hadn't ditched me now, huh?"
Tommy's small form trembled in fear as he gazed up at his towering sister. He was powerless in his miniaturized state. Completely at her mercy.
Just then, the front door opened and their mother April walked in. The 40-year-old single mom had been at work all day. She was exhausted.
"Hello honey, I'm home!" April called out as she stepped into the living room. Then she froze, eyes going wide at the bizarre scene - her son had somehow been shrunk down to a tiny insect size, scurrying under her feet!
She let out a startled yelp and went tumbling forward as her high heel caught on the rug. April went sprawling onto the hardwood, her body landing with a heavy thud right on top of the hapless tiny Tommy. His small form was instantly crushed beneath her considerable bulk, snuffed out of existence.
"Holy shit," April panted, coming to her senses. She slowly sat up and glanced down at the floor in dawning horror. There was a miniscule smear of blood and guts. That's all that remained of her youngest child.
She looked over at Stacy, who was standing there with the shrink ray still in hand, aghast and pale. "Stacy, what...what happened? What is going on?!"
Stacy gulped and held up the device. "I-I found this thing that shrinks people! I got mad and used it on Tommy. I didn't mean for...for that to happen!"
"Noooo!" April wailed in grief and shock, realizing her baby boy was gone. She lunged forward and snatched the shrink ray out of Stacy's hand. "You evil little bitch! I'll kill you!"
In a blind rage, April pointed the device at her remaining child. Stacy only had a split second to scream before the red beam engulfed her. The shrinking effect was swift and she was reduced to a miniscule insect-sized doll, just like her brother.
April took a menacing step forward, looming over her daughter's tiny form. Stacy's small body shook in terror as she beheld the massive, vengeful woman ready to end her life.
April grinned down evilly. "Looks like you're in big trouble now, little girl," she said in a mocking imitation of Stacy's earlier taunt. "I bet you wish you hadn't shrunken your brother now, huh?"
Then she slowly raised her foot, the bottom of her high heel growing larger and larger until it eclipsed Stacy's entire view, blotting out the light as it prepared to stamp down and snuff out her life just like it had done to Tommy.
Stacy had mere seconds left to live before her murderous mother crushed her to death with one vicious stomp. She closed her eyes, tears streaming down her face, and waited for the end to come...
