Advent Wreath Devotional for Adults: KJV Readings for 4 Sundays and Christmas Eve
If December usually rushes by, here's a way to slow down one Sunday at a time.
Each Sunday of Advent gets one sitting of about twenty quiet minutes: light the candle, read the verse aloud, and answer only what is true. Every sitting page prints its King James verse in full, then three short parts: Look, Sit and Pray. Short "days between" pages carry you through the week, and a Christmas Eve page closes it at the table. The pages are dated for this year's Advent, which begins Sunday, November 29.
WHAT'S INSIDE (14 pages)
- Cover and a how-to page
- A wreath page: who reads, who lights, and the four Sunday dates
- Four Sunday sitting pages: Hope (Psalm 130:5), Peace (Isaiah 9:6), Joy (Luke 2:10 to 11) and Love (John 3:16)
- Four "days between" pages, with one sentence and one short prayer for each weekday
- A Christmas Eve page (Luke 2:11) with a blessing to speak at the table
- A "keep the wreath page" page, so you can reuse the sittings later
- A short thank-you page
Made for adults, couples, households and small groups. These pages sit beside your Bible. Skip a day if the house won't hold still.
