Briol means cold. One of the things we need to battle the low temperatures are warm and comfy wool knitted hats.
This pattern makes for an excellent last minute gift or travel project, just a couple of hours of mindless knitting and it’s ready to gift or to wear.
Choose your favourite worsted yarn (it only needs one skein) in a bright colour and cast-on!

Yarn: Rosários 4 Terra or other worsted height of your choice; 1 skein (170m / 185.9 yds) for sizes up to 56 cm (22”), 2 skeins for the larger sizes
Sizes: From 17”/ 43 cm to 27” / 69 cm head circumference
Needles: 4 mm / US 6 (or other suitable to obtain gauge or the right texture for you)
Gauge : 28 rows and 29 sts = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4” x 4” (1/1 rib, relaxed); 26 rows and 18,5 sts stretched
Notions: Clip on stitch markers, tapestry needle
