Entirely self-funded, Corte Project is a feature documentary exploring how the practice of design can be shared and transmitted through a deeply human, immersive, and intimate story.

Driven by a desire to reveal the often unseen role of the designer in creating furniture that is both environmentally responsible and deeply connected to its place of origin, Florian Meca opens the doors to his creative process. Over the course of three months, the camera captures the doubts, encounters, experiments, and traditional know-how that gradually shape the project.

More than a documentary about design, Corte Project is an immersion into the creative journey itself—a dialogue between place, material, craftsmanship, and transmission.
