Progress of telco automation in 2023

The maturity of telco automations in the network, OSS and BSS varies significantly, with some telcos reporting significant headcount reductions from mature automations, including analytics and machine learning; and others still in the early stages of simple automation deployments. This research looks at the value of automation to a telco, how intelligence will merge with these automations and some of the most immediate actions a telco should be taking to realize its intelligent automation vision.
