BMP-2M
The BMP-2M is a modernized version of the Soviet-era BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle, upgraded to improve its firepower, protection, and overall battlefield performance. It is commonly fitted with the Berezhok combat module, which adds advanced targeting systems and stronger weapons. The vehicle is armed with a 30 mm autocannon, a 7.62 mm machine gun, a grenade launcher, and 9M133 Kornet anti-tank guided missiles for engaging armored targets at long range. It has a crew of three and can carry up to seven infantry soldiers. Powered by a diesel engine, it can reach speeds of around 65 km/h and is fully amphibious, allowing it to operate on both land and water. Overall, the BMP-2M is designed to keep the older BMP-2 platform effective in modern combat situations.
