n8n Workflows for Gumroad Sellers: Verified Sale Alerts, Refund Revokes, Weekly Digest & CSV Export

Already run n8n? Plug Gumroad into it in 15 minutes, without the usual gaps.

Most "Gumroad → Slack" templates trust whatever the Ping says. The Ping isn't signed, so anyone who finds your webhook URL can post a fake $999 sale, or a fake refund that locks out a real customer. These workflows use the ping only as a trigger: every sale is re-read from the Gumroad Sales API with your token before anything happens.

What's inside (4 workflows):

1. Sale alerts + Google Sheets log. 💸 Every sale, refund, chargeback and dispute goes to Discord, Slack or Telegram with net after fees and the referrer, and a clean row is appended to Google Sheets.

2. Refund / chargeback → revoke access. Disables the license key (after confirming it belongs to that sale), revokes Gumroad access, removes the buyer from your private GitHub repo, calls your own webhook and alerts you. A nightly sweep catches refunds whose ping never arrived.

3. Weekly sales digest. Monday morning: sales, gross, Gumroad fees, est. net, refunds, per-product lines and top referrers, by chat and email.

4. Monthly CSV export. Last month's sales with fees, net, refund and chargeback flags, and tax collected, emailed as a CSV for your books or your accountant.

Built for real-world Gumroad behavior:

- Shared-secret check plus Sales API verification, so forged pings do nothing

- Replies 200 right away (Gumroad allows 5 seconds) and dedupes resent pings

- Uses the fee the API reports; when it's missing, estimates 10% + $0.50 plus 2.9% + $0.30 card processing for direct sales, or 30% (processing included) for Discover

- Handles Sales API pagination

- Blocks spreadsheet formula injection and masks buyer emails in chat

- One Config node per workflow, no secrets in the files, built-in n8n nodes only (no community nodes)

- Tested end to end on n8n 2.43.8 and 1.123.85 (37 automated checks against a local mock of Gumroad, GitHub, Discord, Slack, Telegram and SMTP), and the test suite is included

You need: n8n (self-hosted or n8n Cloud) and a Gumroad access token. Discord, Slack, Telegram, Google Sheets, GitHub and email are optional; use the ones you want.
