THE JOURNAL

Pulling a card is only half the work. The journal gives you a page for each of the 44 cards, so you can write what came up, what you noticed, and what you plan to do about it. Print the whole journal, or print only the pages for the cards you pull. Use it as a shadow work practice, a daily draw log, or a record of how a card's meaning changes over time.

WHAT THE CARDS ARE LIKE

Each card has a title, a keyword, and a short message. A few examples:

The Nymph: Years of you happened underwater. Nothing about that was waiting.

Moth Lamp: You are burning yourself on something that was never warm.

Molt: You are allowed to leave a shape of yourself behind, still clinging to the reed.

Shed Light: What is revealed cannot be unrevealed. Begin from here.

Other cards include Compound Eye, Two Waters, Leeward, and Spore. This is a shadow work deck, so some cards ask hard questions, but none are meant to frighten you.

HOW TO PRINT

Print at home or send the files to any print shop. Trim the cards to 2.75 x 4.75 in. Rounded corners are optional. Print the journal on standard printer paper and bind it however you like: a folder, a binder, or a stapled booklet.
