Izzy Tote crochet pattern
⚠️ WARNING: This is not a traditional pattern. There is no gauge. There is no yarn weight requirement. Bring your scraps and your sense of adventure.
The Izzy Tote is the crochet bag I am proudest of, and I have made a lot of them. Mesh market bags, carry-alls, tiny purses. This one marries my favourites: texture and upcycling. Use yarn scraps if you have them, if not, the Izzy Tote can definitely also look good in one or two colours.
What you need:
The Izzy Tote is made using recycled textile yarn that is bulky weight and usually sold in 500g or 1000g cones. To finish an Izzy Tote you will need about 800-900g of textile yarn, and a 9 or 10mm hook.
Who is this crochet pattern for:
This crochet pattern is suitable even for advanced beginners who want to graduate past beanies and scarves, to tackle their first crochet garment
What this crochet pattern contains:
This pattern is written using US American crochet terminology.
It contains two variations, the smaller Izzy Tote, and also instructions for a larger version.
The pdf is 18 pages because it is formatted to be legible on your mobile phones without zooming in and panning. It is also available in an ebook (.epub) format.
