This guide does not include step by step cutting tutorials or detailed photos of every cut we made. It focuses specifically on picture frame box moulding. The planning and design principles apply broadly, but the installation section including the angle calculations is specific to box moulding in a hallway and stairway. For the angle calculations on the stairway boxes I share the formula we used and direct you to a YouTube resource that shows the process visually far better than I could in a guide.

This guide is best suited for someone who wants a framework and a thinking process, with the benefit of someone who has already been through it, rather than a prescriptive layout formula.
