Kilter Bay is an asymmetrical pair of socks with a simple but fun pattern down one side of each sock. Worked from the top down using fingering / 4ply weight yarn featuring a short row heel with a mini heel flap for improved fit.

4 ply/fingering weight yarn in a composition suitable for socks

For 28cm [11”] foot length - 280 [320, 345, 430]m / 306 [350, 377, 470]yds

Scheepjes Metropolis (50g, 200m [219yds];75% extra fine merino, 25% nylon) 4ply / fingering weight. Colourway: Izmir

SIZE

1 [2, 3, 4] To fit 18 [20, 23, 25.5] cm / 7 [8, 9, 10]” foot circumference.

Finished dimensions = 16.5 [19, 21.5, 23]cm / 6½ [7½, 8½, 9]”foot circumference.

GAUGE

32 stitches by 48 rounds = 10cm [4”] in stocking stitch.

NEEDLES & ACCESSORIES

2.5 mm [US Size 1.5] needles for working in the round; either
DPNs, long circular needle or preferred method for circular knitting; or size to obtain gauge
Stitch marker x 3
Darning needle
