HOSTEL WELCOME & HOUSE RULES



Welcome to your new home! To make sure everyone has a safe and happy stay, please follow these simple rules.

🕒 1. General & Timing

• Quiet Hours: Keep noise very low from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM out of respect for sleeping guests.
• Check-In: Standard time is 2:00 PM. Early check-in fee is $5 before 2:00 PM.
• Check-Out: Leave your bed and room by 12:00 PM. Late check-outs incur a $5 to $10 fee depending on room type.
• Late Check-Out Limit: Late check-outs allowed until 1:30 PM only. Full day charges apply after 1:30 PM.
• Visitors: Only registered guests are allowed inside rooms and dorms. Outside friends are not permitted.

🧹 2. Cleanliness & Shared Spaces

• Outside Shoes: Do not wear outside shoes inside the hostel. Please use the provided in-house slippers.
• Kitchen: Wash your own dishes, pots, and pans right after use.
• Fridge Policy: Label your food in the fridge with your name and check-out date.
• Bathrooms: Keep the shower and sink clean. Do not leave personal items in shared bathrooms.
• Trash: Throw your rubbish in the correct bins provided in the hallways and kitchen.
• Linen Care: Ensure no significant hard stains or blood are left on linens. Penalty charges range from $10 to $50 depending on condition.

🛡️ 3. Health & Safety

• No Smoking: Smoking and vaping are strictly forbidden indoors. Please go outside the building. A $300 penalty applies for violations.
• No Alcohol/Drugs: Illegal drugs and heavy drinking are banned. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy.
• Security: Keep valuables locked in your locker. The hostel is not responsible for lost cash or electronics.

❤️ 4. Respect & Comfort

• Be Kind: Treat our team and fellow travellers with respect. Harassment or rude behaviour results in immediate eviction without a refund.
• No Food in Beds: Eat and drink only in common dining areas to keep bugs away.
